It is one of 6 optional sides that may be added to a Tray with Brisket and/or Sausages.
Players have the option of upgrading coleslaw to increase the amount a customer pays. The starting price for coleslaw is 2 and the maximum is 8. Experience points are given for each time a player upgrades coleslaw.
